Honorary Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge

In November 2020, Helen was elected an Honorary Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge (where she did both her undergraduate degree and PhD). Churchill College has always been a very important part of her life, from making floating boats on the College pond on her first day as an undergraduate to spending the afternoon after her PhD viva building a welly-throwing trebuchet at the top of the playing fields. The official welcome back into College has been postponed until social distancing permits a proper celebration, but it’s a huge honour for her to be formally connected to College again.
